🚨 I have a very simple question for the authorities.

If a migrant boat is still afloat and the people on board are not actually in the water or in immediate danger, on what legal basis is the RNLI collecting them and transporting them to the UK?

Section 25 of the Immigration Act 1971 makes facilitating a breach of immigration law a criminal offence.

And under the Nationality and Borders Act 2022, the maximum sentence was increased to life imprisonment.

Yes, there are statutory protections for genuine rescue operations. I accept that.

But that makes the question even more important:

Where does rescue end and facilitation begin?

If these people are being rescued from genuine danger, show us the evidence.

If they aren’t in danger and are instead being transported towards the UK, then the public deserves to know exactly why that does not amount to facilitation under Section 25.

Nobody should be above the law.

Not the Government. Not people smugglers. And not anyone else.

Investigate it. Apply the law. And if a criminal offence has been committed, prosecute whoever is responsible.

I stood waist-deep in the waters of northern France and watched the entire British border strategy collapse in real time.

A dinghy packed with roughly 100 illegal immigrants launched right in front of us.

Standing on the beach were 10 officers from the French Gendarmerie Nationale. They did absolutely nothing. They watched it happen in knee-deep water where they could have easily intervened.

When I confronted an officer and asked why they let the boat go, his exact words were chilling: “Our order is to let them go”.

The Home Secretary is handing over £660 million of your hard-earned taxpayer money to France. Most of it is completely unconditional. Yet French officers are explicitly prohibited from stopping these boats once they hit the water.

Until we stop paying for inaction, exit the ECHR, and implement a real deterrent, these dangerous crossings will never end.

I am furious.
Our son was murdered by a man whose violent and vicious history and risks were repeatedly missed.

Now we learn that another mentally ill man with a fixation on us and the Nottingham case travelled to Somerset, including our home town, seeking out victims' families; and the police chose not to tell us.

@nottspolice knew. The @policeconduct knew.

Yet nobody thought Barnaby's family deserved a warning.
Nobody thought Charlie's school deserved safeguarding advice.
Nobody thought we had a right to know.

Is this even legal? Isn’t this within 'Osman warning'.

As @drsanjoykumar points out in the story; the Calocane family were heaped with additional support and resources, including CCTV to make them safe.

We had zero.

How many more shocking failures are we expected to uncover ourselves?

Victims' families should not have to fight for every piece of information while those responsible hide behind processes and excuses.

I’ve watched people like Narinder Kaur for years now. The ones who go looking for racism in every disagreement and every conversation, then shout it the loudest.

I don’t think that’s brave. I think it’s doing real harm, and you will also find they are often the biggest racists going.

You can’t keep telling a country that every hard conversation is bigotry and then act surprised when people stop trusting each other and call her out for her disgusting lies and rhetoric.

That kind of rhetoric doesn’t bring anyone together. It drives a wedge in and calls it justice.

In my view, these so-called commentators like Narinder have taken race relations in this country back 30, 40 years.

Not by accident. By making suspicion the default and calling it progress.

That’s not anti-racism. It’s division with a microphone. And it’s dangerous and is having a detrimental effect on the fabric of our society.

The truth is that the Conservatives and Restore would rather see the Greens win than Reform.

They will never admit it publicly, but their actions make the reality impossible to disguise.
