Gaussian Splatting struggles with high-frequency details. Our #CVPR2026 paper “Neural Gabor Splatting” is out! By augmenting each Gaussian with an MLP that models high-frequency signals, we significantly improve reconstruction quality with fewer primitives.

We haven’t explored integration with platforms like LightField Studio or SuperSplat yet, but that’s a very interesting direction.
Making this more accessible in real pipelines is something we’d love to explore.

I have completed my M.S. at the University of Tokyo.
I received the Dean’s Award (awarded to the top student in the department for research excellence) and was selected as the representative master’s student at the graduation ceremony held at Yasuda Auditorium.
