Letting your baby "cry it out" is child abuse, and these cages are totally unnecessary for child rearing. Five kids and mothering for 17 years, and I've never owned one.
is it just me or is it weird that they recommend locking your baby in this prison looking thing to sleep when no animal in the wild ever sleeps away from its baby
its almost like they want kids to be miserable
Reading this gem to the littles this afternoon... Really hope The White People's Press comes back. Not sure what happened to them, but the books are so beautiful ❤️
For the soup, I cook white beans in chicken stock and crushed tomatoes... I add carrots, garlic, onion and basil. A dab of butter. Spinach at the very end, simply to wilt it. I add a pinch of dulse seaweed for added minerals and digestion.
Nourishing yet simple dinner for our household tonight ... Having homemade chicken stock, eggs, flour, butter, and bulk ingredients on hand is helpful for whipping up something dense and yummy in a pinch!

Quiche w/ gruyere, tomato and mushroom, and a pot of white bean/carrot/spinach soup🔥
I have wooed many with my quiches. 😂
The key is a good, flaky crust, and not over-baking. Remove quiche from the oven just as it starts to solidify, and let it finish on the counter.
@warroom4evr@RRR0BYN Those are general recommendations for good read alouds, but for WW2 reference there is March of the Titans, When the Flagpoles Bloomed, and potentially a first edition Landmark book on the chancellor (annotation needed occasionally)
@warroom4evr@RRR0BYN I'd recommend checking out Ambleside Online for book lists, as well as Charlotte Mason/ living books. Lots of great classic literature. I've been homeschooling for over ten years, and great books are our favorite thing!
Sometimes I like to reflect on things I stressed about as a first time mom or when I only had one child. I remember when I had just my eldest, I stressed about her learning her colors, numbers, shapes... Cont...https://t.co/duW4nMbOBj

Signs of spring! Started getting 2-3 eggs a day again from my ladies.
I water glassed two gallons of eggs this year and we went through them pretty quickly. The first winter in many years I’ve had to buy eggs.
What a blessing and a gift to be a mother to my beautiful children. Reading aloud to them is one of my favorite things. We're finishing the last pages of Treasure Island today, and going to follow it with a watch of the 1950 film this evening. 📚 #readalouds#homeschool
@thegenesisbl0ck It also has to do with attachment/detachment issues caused by being isolated from their mothers in the early years of childhood and placed in the hands of strangers for daycare and primary school. This childhood trauma causes detriment to developing maternal instincts as adults.
It's a big cooking day for me today. A couple of things I'm making: a gallon of yogurt and some fermented ginger carrots, one of my kids' favorite fermented veggies... Recipes from Nourishing Traditions -
In this batch I added almonds and dried cranberries...
Soak overnight to "ferment", then dehydrate on low heat for a day... The fun part is test tasting for doneness 😉
So much healthier than store-bought and very nutritious!

Super easy, high protein, gut-friendly homemade granola...
I mix a pound of butter, a quart of yogurt, a couple cups of maple syrup, a huge dash of cinnamon, a couple big pinches of sea salt, with 8-15 cups of whole oats (enough to moisten the oats, evenly coating)-continued...
