@StrebleV @mermaidgorl There's a cinderella adaptation that has a so called mermaid/witch as the fairy god mother. She has completely human form though, and from what I remember wasn't overly sexualized, but she wasn't part fish so I dont know if she really counts. #hon436

All streams and rivers have eating advisories here, which was a shock after living in CA and I never even thought twice about the fish from those rivers. #hon436

@BradyAl81311204 I think naming of characters is always a special way to give a little more insight into a story. I have a character whose name means "beautiful" in ancient Egyptian. She's an old woman and it will be something she mentions to be feisty, in a teasing way, with young male. #hon436

@mermaidgorl Memories can be painful. Many myths circle around a drug sometimes called nepenthe, which makes the user forget to ease their sorrow. It pops up in modern stories as well such as in the original Charmed and Once Upon a Time. #hon436

@abcluk01 Most of my archive has been about deep sea mining. From what I understand, oil rigs usually aren't as deep as polymetalic nodules are. So there are many connections still with disaster's on the ecosystems around these human activities. #hon436
