Cllr for Orkney's North Isles, Heather Woodbridge has been elected deputy leader of Orkney Islands Council.
Her nomination was put forward by cllr Leslie Manson and seconded by Owen Tierney and went unopposed, with no other nominations.

Melissa Thomson, Stephen Clackson, and Heather Woodbridge have been voted in as councillors for Orkney's North Isles. There was a 56.1% turnout of voters in the ward.
