When my brother and I were 9 and 15, respectively, we wrote down our #aspirations. My mother saved the letter and gave it to me recently. Neither of us have achieved these goals, but the journey is the important thing here. Also, I'm a lot closer to my goal than Robbie is ๐

I always love to help bust the myth that #franchises aren't #entrepreneurial! While they can help give you a "blueprint", execution falls squarely into the hands of the owner. Success is up to you, and the amount of hustle you're willing to put into your #franchise journey.
Are you considering franchising?
Debunking the 3 prevailing myths that mislead potential franchise buyers.
Myth #1: Franchises run on autopilot. Franchises require hard work and dedication from franchisees to succeed.
Even the โmythicalโ absentee owner model still requires a lot of work. I tell potential owners that for the first while you will have 2 full-time jobs.
Myth #2: Franchising isn't entrepreneurial. Franchisees can still be creative and find new ways to operate their businesses within the franchisor's guidelines.
If you want to have more of a say in how things are done, consider a franchise with fewer locations. They may be more open to your suggestions and help in growing the system.
Myth #3: Franchises aren't local and only for certain industries. There are franchise opportunities in many industries beyond restaurants.
The ones that grow, focus on local networking, and being a part of their community.
Franchising offers a chance to leverage a successful brand, be your own boss, and achieve your entrepreneurial goals. Do your research and see if franchising is the right path for you.
#franchising, #franx
As #tech takes over our lives, people are searching for more truthful and authentic interaction in their lives - whether from their bosses, friends, or the companies they buy from.
This is why, to me, #authenticity is a PERFECT #WordOfTheYear.

This is especially true in the world of #franchising.
Success in the #franchise world takes one skill more than any other: #resilience.
Mistakes happen. Things WILL go wrong. The only thing in your control is your will to get back up, learn, and try again.
Thanks, @TomBilyeu.
If you look stupid, itโs because what you did WAS stupid.
So what? Did you learn, did you get better, what did you take away from that experience? Learning from your mistakes is what it takes to succeed in entrepreneurship.
#Franchising has never just been about business - it's about people, too.
This is why the #CustomerExperience will remain a critical component of what it takes to scale a successful franchise in 2024.

The #marketing magic of #TaylorSwift strikes again. And again... and again!
I'm LOVING all the unique ways that teams have harnessed the cultural power of #Traylor in campaigns.
Good marketing comes from teams that understand the world.

@ambika_sarawgi As clichรฉ as it sounds, consistency is truly the key to entrepreneurship. Baby steps are still steps - they count for something. The worst thing a new entrepreneur can do is halt momentum on their venture.
@marclou Can't disagree there, @marclou! Good marketing relies on products that serve a specific purpose and audience. It's easier than you'd think to get bogged down in the weeds and lose sight of that.
@NeelBParekh Absolutely, @NeelBParekh. There are SO many reasons to consider franchising if you're a beginner, but you hit the nail on the head here. Franchises are an awesome way to build wealth, gain experience, and practice collaboration.
@Codie_Sanchez Yes, @Codie_Sanchez. Reviews are a kind of consumer-driven marketing that we don't talk about enough. I especially love tip No. 1 - leaving customers a positive review is a wonderful way to prolong customer relationships AND reign in new ones.
@TamaraMcCleary@Entrepreneur Excellent article. This part resonated with me most: "A resilient leader doesn't just navigate through change; they anticipate, prepare for, and leverage it for business growth."
When it comes to #marketing, effectiveness means thinking outside the box and finding the unique #strategy that works for your brand's particular needs.
Don't just be right - dare to be different!

@thejustinwelsh Love this, @thejustinwelsh. Entrepreneurship might be a path to financial growth - but more importantly, it permits us to nurture lives driven by passion and fulfillment. The fear of failure is real. Overcoming this fear is BEYOND fulfilling.
I recently asked my #leadership team what characteristics made them successful in their role. The one that came up the most was #resilience. What sets mediocre leaders apart from the greats is their ability to use setbacks as learning opportunities and fuel for growth.
I'm not the first to tell you that #CustomerCentricity is central to a good #marketing campaign.
#GenerativeAI is about to blow our current strategies for customer engagement out of the water, making way for entirely new operations.

As much as #leaders try to avoid it, #crisis happens - leaving us with no choice but to sink or swim.
The most important tool for navigating this workplace chaos: #communication.
Don't create extra pain by not keeping teams in the loop!

#Franchisors and #franchisees should always, always be working on the same team.
Before doing ANYTHING else, ensure that your franchisor-franchisee relationship is symbiotic, collaborative, and SOLID!
