This is massive!! Promoting activity and mobilisation in acute hospital settings is essential for maintaining function and outcome on discharge. How do we do this better in our MDTs? @DavidMa78733213@vicky_hennessy@Kirstieahp
It’s great to hear the views of segregation units from somebody who has experienced them first hand… a huge thank you to Martin Sullivan for joining us today and telling his story! #wgllsegconf
Incredibly tough act to follow from Martin Sullivan sharing his experiences from children’s homes to segs across the country. Inspirational story & amazing recovery #WGLLSegconf
Attending the #WGLLsegconf virtually today. Learning about a positive pilot scheme of MDT working and responding to multifaceted needs in segregation units effectively, on improving patient outcomes. Lots of specialist work and lived experience to soak up!
There are so many great things about Sex Education, but what I really liked was the focus this last season on disability representation, and how it addresses the lack of accessibility and ableism in mainstream contexts, with a perfect summary of the social model of disability.

Ps if you have Netflix, I'd recommend you watch Painkiller....a dramatised true story about a pharma company in America....I had no idea....it's brilliantly told and utterly shocking...💔

@MOHOspark @Feeeeeeebr1 And also just bringing all the info together in one really helps with decision making, to see it infront of you in scores and to go from there. Very helpful tool.
I presented during the week at a south OT team meeting about the fabulous uses of MOHOST within practice as OPMH OT. I loved doing this and sharing benefits to OT process. Plus it was face-face which was so fun! thank you @Feeeeeeebr1#valueofMOHO#MHOT
@MOHOspark @Feeeeeeebr1 Person to be involved at the right time, to make sure our service is the best suited for the patient needs, if it’s presented through MOHOST with all physical needs and minimal cognitive concerns, ?would a rehab service or social work be more appropriate (2)
@MOHOspark @Feeeeeeebr1 I think it’s about us having all the right info at the start, ensuring we’ve tapped into every corner of OT, and that just streamlines input going forward and care planning. It also brings together patients varieties of needs and ensures we are the right (1)
