BREAKING NEWS: We’re bracing for the impact of a second major winter event headed toward Ottawa. Residents are encouraged to complete their errands and get prepared ahead of this storm that is expected to begin later this afternoon and will not let up until Monday morning. A Significant Weather Event remains in effect and a Winter Weather Parking Ban will start at 10 am Sunday, February 16, until the city issues further notice. The extension to the standard winter weather parking ban is essential for the support of our operations. Be safe and please limit non-essential travel. If you must be out, exercise extreme caution.

Un événement météorologique important demeure en vigueur et une interdiction hivernale de stationnement entrera en vigueur à 10 h le dimanche 16 février, jusqu’à ce que la Ville émette un autre avis. La prolongation de l’interdiction hivernale de stationnement est essentielle pour soutenir nos opérations. Soyez prudents et limitez les déplacements non essentiels. Si vous devez sortir, faites preuve d’une extrême prudence.

🚇 St-Laurent Station has reopened this morning.

✅ Regular O-train Line 1 service has resumed on time

✅ Trains are serving all stations between Tunney’s Pasture and Blair stations.

➡️ Crews have successfully completed the required remedial work.

➡️ Inspections confirm that all hazards have been mitigated.

➡️ The station has been cleaned and is ready for service.
