Platner is not entitled to 100% Democratic support. Hillary didn't get 100% support when Dems went on TV all year to say they couldn't support her for "moral reasons".

Joe certainly didn't get 100% support from Democrats when Dems trashed him all day everyday and then brutally backstabbed him and removed him from the election.

Kamala didn't 100% Democratic support, we saw plenty of people cheering for her to lose.

That's the nature of politics. Every single Democrat is not going to support every Democrat. Platner is no different.

I'm listening to Briahna Joy Gray go on about how Mamdani, AOC and every lefty star that gets into office suddenly sells out and starts moderating. She doesn't seem to have a good theory of why this might be the case other than maybe they lack commitment to Sparkle Motion.

What I think that she is missing is that these people get into office and realize that throwing bombs doesn't work. If they want to actually move the ball forward, they have to set reasonable goals and actually try to work with people.

Maybe, just maybe, the reason why the Dems don't do everything the left wants isn't because they are corrupt or secret conservatives, but because its harder to actually govern than complain.
