Community Organizer Position

We are looking for someone who has the skills, vision, enthusiasm to expand and maintain resident participation in the Hawthorne Empowerment Coalition (HEC) and related community groups such as Friends Groups for our parks and a Town Watch group.

Our goals include building social networks and facilitating connections to resources to make the community safer and stronger.

The organizer will be directed by the board of the HEC.

Some community contacts and meetings will take place in the evening.
