VC is a romantic industry. You get paid to live in the future. Your job is to uncover something new every day; talent, technology, problems.
Everything else is noise and is hurting you.
I always wished I could live in the House of Wisdom and spend my life reading and translating books. But in this timeline being a VC is the next best thing.
That's why I have been building Dealdock for the past 4 years. To free myself from all kinds of drudgery work as a VC and increase my time in flow state.
I'll be releasing more videos about how I use it as it contains many workflows now.
👇 Reply below, I'll DM you early access, I'm picking a few people for full onboarding.
Introducing Atlas:
The world's first multimodal world model that generates image and video frames with pixel-perfect camera control and reconstructs them in 3D.
Model the world, move the camera, and simulate space & time.
We finally cracked it!
We built an open-source video editor that turns every edit into code.
I got tired of agents:
→ Losing context
→ Giving me outputs I couldn’t modify
So we flipped it:
→ Code is the new database.
Introducing warmwind OS: The World’s First AI Operating System
warmwind is live.
After three years of building, testing, breaking things, rebuilding them, and a long beta phase, we’re finally ready.
For the launch, we did what we apparently like doing: found a beautiful place somewhere in Europe and brought warmwind with us.
This is the first public version of warmwind OS.
We made it to 1.0.

Today we are announcing @KeenableAI, an AI-native index of the best human knowledge we have, starting with the open web.
AI seems to know just about everything until you ask it about something you know deeply. The answer isn’t wrong, but it's just very average.
We started Keenable to fix this problem: every model and every agent should be able to query, reason over, and continuously learn from the living web.
Backed by a $26M Seed from @Accel and @conviction. Built by the team that took on Google at Yandex Search, with researchers and engineers from Amazon AGI, X, and Perplexity.
The Web Search API and Web Query Language for AI are live now. Together they make the web queryable at AI scale. Both are free until end of September.
Seven days of benchmarks, stories, and launches ahead.
Let your agents search.
i was a founding engineer at a pre pmf startup so i have much sympathy for said candidates
this is a cringe take - you stand to gain 10000x more than any of your employees. why would they want to work as hard as you?
as founder you have to get that -> do everything to bridge the gap e.g. we give our team the sexy projects and do the cringe boring work
nobody is entitled to the hard work of others, it has to feel worthwhile
🚀 Two days left for the EGGROLL challenge!
EGGROLL tutorial: https://t.co/7uLnbuF85K
To submit: post what you did tagging @outlierlabshq and @bidiptas13
The winner will be featured by Bidipta & go for dinner with the Eggroll team in September.
Slow down and remember this:
Most things make no difference.
Being busy is a form of laziness—lazy thinking and indiscriminate action.
Being overwhelmed is often as unproductive as doing nothing, and is far more unpleasant.
Being selective—doing less—is the path of the productive.
Focus on the important few and ignore the rest.
For those of us who beat ourselves up, this book is a godsend.
It is not nearly as woo-woo as it might seem. It was recommended to me by a neuroscience PhD who said it changed her life, then by another cynical friend who said the same.
It is one of the most useful books I’ve read. It’s easy to digest, and I suggest one short chapter before bed each night.
I open-sourced ThreeUI, my library of three.js components and landing pages.
160+ are free, and the tool is free too. It includes procedural 3D hero sections, icons, and motion designs. Copy the prompt or source, give it to your agent, then change the theme, lighting, motion or layout.

I'm adding a lot more soon. Pro comes with 50+ extra components, MCP, and skills. Early adopters get 50% off right now.
New Emerging Managers episode with @mhdempsey of Compound!
Many GPs like to talk about being contrarian. Almost none can stomach the real cost: years of looking wrong and watching everyone around you get (paper)rich on stuff you passed on. Michael is the rare exception, and he has the receipts:
He did the Runway and Wayve seed rounds in 2018, before anyone was talking about generative AI. Both up 100x+ since. He raised a fund in '21 and barely deployed for 2 years while everyone piled into the top. His latest funds sat out most of the AI gold rush for biotech and material science. Most recently, he raised a liquid fund to run the same playbook in public markets
While most VCs compete to win allocations into the best companies in the hottest sectors (i.e. playing momentum games), Compound sidesteps this entirely. Instead, they spend their time trying to predict the future: diving deep on the research across a range of topics, publishing long-form theses, and then backing the founders who either fit their thesis or break it in a smart way
We get into everything from why momentum investing ends badly in venture, why ChatGPT killed Compound's original edge and what replaced it, and what he's bullish and bearish on in publics. Enjoy!

I've made an Obisidian theme called 𝗺𝗻𝗺𝗹.
It's a quieter, more native-feeling fork of @kepano's Minimal theme, also inspired by the Codex Mac app.
