Why do people buy appliances from amazon in the first place? I bought a treadmill, it didnt work even for a month and had to run here & there for repairs under warranty and I had to pay from my pocket for the courier & reinstallation. Buy locally from electronic appliance shops!

Very unfortunate @amazonIN refuses to repair/honour warranty.
* Refrigerator purchased in Aug 2023
* Additional warranty purchased for 2 years valid till Aug 2025.
* However, basic warranty on components (in writing document says valid for one to 5 years)
* Now @AmazonHelp refuses to repair own refrigerator.
* Is there no warranty on compressor for 5 years?
* Seeking grievance redressal through multiple emails & conversations since May 2026.
* Should one buy @amazon products in India if they don't honour warranty on their products sold under their own name?
