for smash bros., paper mario is fine. he can represent all his partners through his moveset. other rpg character contenders are geno and fawful.

@lonely65343 @mariotwtconfess that picture is of the optional battle ring though. i think that a past m&l boss would've been a better secret final fight than randomly having bowser jr. and a character who at that point had perfect attendance would've been a perfect choice for that. keep the tradition alive

Gadd)

I see them as building ON the mainline universe, you see them as incompatibly diverting from it and crucially you loudly insist that yours is fact.

they won't lose normies as long as all the mainstays are there. which they always will be.
