@Missing_Sample2@JionArt@Thenightstarise 1 million, wow, crazy numbers, you impress me, funny thing is the average Mario game sells 3-4x that amount and Luigi’s Mansion 3 alone sold around 14 million copies globally
@ooneupgirl I still prefer the old DK because it felt like something new and fresh, and it fit the “king of the jungle” theme they were going with, whereas the new version just feels like something out of that new Mickey Mouse show making him an exaggerated version of a gem
@KoopTroopBeach I feel like the movie heavily relied on references to the point where it doesn’t feel like a Mario movie but rather just another Pixels or Ready Player One
@Missing_Sample2@JionArt@Thenightstarise I’m not gonna beat you up with an argument because you haven’t pissed me off yet but tradition has kept the franchise moving, loosely tied but still moving, the Mario Galaxy movie and the borderline failure that is Super Princess Peach proves we still need tradition
@Thenightstarise@JionArt I don’t care about games like 3D World and Wonder because they were able to work around that (though that kinda ruins Bowser’s character in my opinion) however they haven’t tried that with a big big release yet which worries me on where they would go with that
