@fleur_de_vil Used to be Egalitarian, Catholic Church came in, Catholicism while can be interpreted as patriarchal traditionally, is quite open to women empowerment. Balances the scales methinks. We don't have divorce or abortion, but casual daily life is quite relaxed with gender norms.
