The next time the US Government starts a war by pretending it's doing so because of how outraged it is by the repression and tyranny in the country to be attacked -- and that the new war that's being sold is about freeing the oppressed peoples of that country with benevolent regime change that will liberate everyone -- can we all at least realize that this is always total bullshit?

The US does fight wars to free people or end repression or vanquish despotism.
