Man attempts to behead another man in the street.
"No evidence of terror at this stage, say police"
If that isn’t terror, what is? How much more terrifying does it need to be to qualify as terror?
The simple fact is that if you bring to your society lots of people from countries where beheadings are normal, you will get more beheadings. See also: Female Genital Mutilation, sexual assault, etc. This is a policy choice. By politicians. Who must bear responsibility.
I’m just sick of it. The job of the journalists is to report the news accurately. That’s it.
We don’t need - or trust - them to assess whether the public are able to handle the news.
Please just do your job
Ireland 🇮🇪
“Ireland's data centre energy drain. How Big Tech added €1.4bn to household electricity bills.”
Tech giants are hoovering up massive energy and water supplies to power their data centres and the public are paying for it. No one voted for this.
AI data centres are expected to consume 9.3 trillion litres of water annually by 2030 - the equivalent amount to the water supply requirements of 1.3 billion people in Sub-Saharan Africa. Plundering the natural resources requirements of people for the greed of the tech giants.
Today I brought an emergency motion to Fingal County Council calling on the Government to invoke Protocol 21 and opt out of the EU Migration Pact.
It was rejected.
Ireland is being signed up to binding EU migration quotas that were never put to the Irish people in a referendum.
Protocol 21 is a legal opt-out that exists specifically to protect Irish sovereignty and this Government refuses to even discuss using it.
Most politicians won't touch this topic.
I will.
The people of Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart didn't elect me to stay quiet on the issue that matters most to them.
Mass migration is reshaping this country at a pace and scale that nobody voted for and the response from the political establishment is silence, deflection, or accusations of bad faith against anyone who raises it.
I will keep bringing these motions.
I will keep asking the questions others won't and I will keep representing the people who sent me to that chamber to speak plainly and without apology.
Women and girls deserve privacy, dignity and safety.
Single-sex spaces exist for a reason. Recognising biological sex is not controversial. It is common sense.
Independent Ireland supports clear protections for women-only spaces while ensuring all people are treated with dignity and respect.

I'm finally reading Dune. This quote, which is in the first few pages, hits hard:
"Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them."
This is Lucy Stemp from Tonbridge in Kent. She is missing in Paris. No one has heard from her in a week. Her family are desperate to locate her. The police and interpol are involved. Please share. @pinkladies_uk
Ireland has 3 times more data centres per capita than Britain. Ireland has the highest (by far) electricity bills in Europe. You are financing the data centres that are destroying your environment AND you are paying carbon taxes for cooking your dinner & heating your home. They are robbing us blind.
Somalians, Pakistanis, Afghans and Nigerians.
This is literally a death spiral. Britain using Ireland as a dumping ground and the Irish political class absolutely useless.
They had zero problem stopping Irish people at the border during covid19.
The average cost to house a prisoner in Ireland is €8,611 per month. Four months is €34,444.
A one way flight to India costs less than €300.
Tax payers in Ireland are being robbed.
