@Curious16337974@welshroots They were badly advised by lawyers to plead to lesser charges to avoid jailtime. Lawyers were not given everything by the postoffice so they were unaware how tenuous the evidence was. Everyone was told they were the only ones. There are lots of reasons they backed down.
@missdcox We have directed time until 5pm on Mondays and 4:30 every third Tuesday, we return 3 days earlier than other local schools after Christmas. We have 3 training days a year instead of 5. It all adds up.
@lennoncasino@RogersHistory We called the police when a teacher was permanently disabled by a student. When the teachers said they were not happy teaching that child we were told off for picking on children and that we couldn't choose who we taught. Only threatened strike action stopped him being returned
@MflMorrison@branwenjeffreys@GillianKeegan Both. 4% needs funding from the school. Give would fund 0.5%. Probably so they can spout the nonsense that they are funding it. They actually say that schools should easily be able to fund 4% from existing money.
@ShitBikePhotos @gazza_d @theJeremyVine@guardian @AndyCoxDCS @peterwalker99 @markandcharlie My brother in law and his friend was killed by a motorist who fell asleep at the wheel and crossed the centre line. The motorist got a 3 year ban counted from the date of the "accident" a $1000 fine and 200 hours of community service. Road laws are ridiculous.
@jillberry102 No work related notices, these are in the ppa room and corridor where staff lockers are, usb ports in power sockets to charge phones, the choice of couches, dining table or high bar stools and benches for seating, multiple microwaves, hot water urn, toasted sandwich maker.
@maggiecswart @Gabby_Brauner27 1. A nurse can do a pap smear. (They do in many other countries)
2. A lab technician can run the tests.
Both of whom earn substantially less than doctors. $450 is a complete rip off but because insurance will pay this price, prices will stay high.
@lee39972640@FerrymansDaugh1@LydiaHuIme @Mappymappytwit @premierinn A blind woman with a guide dog was woken up and kicked out of a Premier inn because they thought her dog was a pet not a guide dog. They entered her room with a master key. Outrageous.
Pig-ignorant illiterate anti-scientific illiberal busybody authoritarian bullshit of the highest order. One of the stupidest possible suggestions from one of the stupidest possible politicians. https://t.co/ulvSfn2xDe
@pernilleripp Wait, wait, wait! You have to pay to resign? In over 30 years of working in 2 different countries I've never heard of this happening anywhere. What's that about?
@sibyliss@Cernovich Pumps do not always work. I had plenty of milk to directly feed my son but produced virtually nothing when pumping even with one of the most expensive pumps on the market.
@KadarKokoa @Cernovich Except pumping doesn't work for some people. I had plenty of milk to breastfeed for over a year but it would take 2 hours pumping to produce a quarter of one feed that my son needed. Nope not enough time in the world to keep that up. His childminder used formula.
@Dannybooboo0@Cernovich Breastfeeding is hard for some people. As the USA has a pathetic amount of maternity leave it's not always possible to have fully established feeding before having to return to work. Some people can't pump. Before formula they used wet nurses or made their own.
@KimBigpighunter @7NewsSydney This was 100% the driver's fault, not an accident. He fell asleep and ploughed into 2 innocent people who were minding their own business not even on the same side of the road as him. He would have hit them if they were in a car too. He fell asleep, he should be punished.
@Behaviour_Guy I was internally promoted to a non class teaching position and told long term supply would cover my class. It has been a disaster. The one they employed lasted 4 days then decided it was too much work for the pay (don't blame him!). Diff supply every day since. I'm doing 2 jobs.
@meredithfox22@missdcox Our primary has a 45 minute lunch. It's horrible, my year ones get around 10 mins of play, I get max 10 mins to eat by the time I set up for the afternoon and 2 hours learning in the afternoon is a hard slog. It should be an hour at least.
