@Netmums try getting your 'journalist Katie Wilson to get her facts right. The DofE announced it is no longer referred to as 'free'childcare but 'government funded'. With the whole sector in crisis nurseries, childminders, preschools etc are fighting to keep their businesses.

Went to Bayham Abbey today. Website states open at 10am. Waited until 10.20am no sign of opening. Padlock on the gate, no-one around. Disappointed as it's an hour round trip and I had 4 young children with me for an educational visit.

@maidstonebc total lack of health and safety at Mote Park this morning. Tools left lying around, unsecure fences, workman carrying large equipment through playing children, lorry blocking access gate to play park. Young children at risk. 😡

@maidstonebc total disregard for health and safety at Mote Park this morning. Large vehicle blocking gate to playpark. Equipment being moved around whilst young children playing. Tools left lying around for children to pick up. Fencing not secure, Workmen stood around chatting.

@dfds_uk cannot understand why you'd leave Dieppe this evening knowing there's bad weather forecast along the South Coast. Currently unable to dock in Newhaven, stuck out in the channel being tossed and rolled about for hours feeling very uncomfortable 😠
