@fasc1nate In 2016, a Somalian suicide bomber brought explosives onto Daallo Airlines Flight 159.
Twenty minutes after takeoff, the explosives successfully detonated and blasted a hole in the side of the plane.
The bomber was instantly sucked out and was the only fatality.
An Australian man called Don Ritchie, lived the across street from the most famous suicide hotspot in Australia known as "the gap".
He lived there for almost 50 years and during that time he saved at least 160 from committing suicide by striking up a conversation with them and then inviting them into his home for tea.
In 2006, he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his rescues, the official citation being for "service to the community through programs to prevent suicide".
Ritchie died on 13 May 2012, at the age of 85.
@fasc1nate This dude made it to 94 smoking animal excrement from a pipe and eating roadkill, then there are people with extremely healthy lifestyles that get early cancer. Life truly is a gamble and a circus.
@DaveNewellPhoto @Alphafox78 A concerning point. Nobody will have anyone to blame if we are all dead and its exactly what some of these individuals want. Sick
@avidreader90@ryanbigsbymaga @Morbidful Yeah, um, im sorry but i think we should take a step back here, mother is happy and all but you essentially just defined what hell is
