@damiebi10 People will absolutely watch it, don't confuse chronically online twitter noise for actual public perception. Jensen alone will bring viewers in, people on twitter just want every type of media to 'flop' these days and feign outrage
@ivanlapanje The majority of the playerbase dont care about ultimate team or want to pay2win its a total bait loop for kids, but it brings in the most money. Pro Clubs could have been the flagship mode if they actually put time into it
@KunshusDomain@Sheep_Esports@riotgames Gen G beat HLE (the 2nd best team in Korea) then had an off day vs in-form KT (who should have won the final 3-0 without a throw).
@SynthPotato You’re not wrong but isn’t the nomination itself the acknowledgement of an amazing achievement? A game doesn’t need to win an award to be valid. I can accept E33 won all those awards while hoping DS2 won direction or music but we should be happy there were so many good games
@KunshusDomain@Sheep_Esports@riotgames Thats not all those events are for. If you want to cherry pick, Gen G beat T1 at every international event they attended this year, including the most one sided group stage game stomp. Just because one BO5 on the stacked bracket side thats invalid right? Grow up
@KunshusDomain@Sheep_Esports@riotgames That’s incredibly outdated thinking. Sure Worlds is the most prestigious because that’s all we used to get and it’s all T1 fans watch but winning both LCK and MSI is harder. Being the best team for 80% of the year sounds like a win to me
@KunshusDomain@Sheep_Esports@riotgames It was a lot harder to win MSI than worlds with this format, and they also topped LCK and won playoffs. Terrible comparison, Gen G were absolutely dominant this year and losing one semi final doesnt change it
@elonmusk Surely a massive coincidence that legacy media and public image was totally reversed to start criticising Elon right after he got rid of censorship and extreme propaganda on twitter...
@heokhyeokie Gen G dominated for 90% of the year with chovy at the heart of it, but the loudest "fans" only watch world's so they think he doesn't deserve this blatant award
@faelklore@idontknowm8s No because the only people making it a regional divide is the Brazilian's who are acting like absolute chimps (ironic). Brazilians and French continue to be the most toxic inbred subhumans in esports
@wayotworld In the UK it's a sport mostly played by poor people enough to get to that level. Poor areas in the UK are now significantly blacker than they used to be, that's all
@airton_arnoni@BryanValen2508@Thorin It is good, so is winning 2 and getting to the semi finals of the other one, that's a more successful year surely?
@BryanValen2508@airton_arnoni@Thorin So if they're the best why do they lose so many tournaments all year and struggle in their league? Winning 1/4 major tournaments is not a hugely successful year
@SookiKanban Most blatantly botted likes on a post I've ever seen, look at the contrast with the comments. Her movies aren't going to do well anyway but she will be an example to others on how to not cave into psychotic agendas. Her career will be fine
@Thorin Fearless is so much more enjoyable to watch but the forced objectives dulled the quality of the games imo. Teams were having to go against their style or comp to constantly flip a game at dragon or more particularly atakhan
@BryanValen2508@airton_arnoni@Thorin No, Faker won that many times because he has incredible stage experience and is the overall best player of all time. T1 are not the best team in the world, they were still lucky to win this one. 3 other teams were more deserving but it's a great achievement nonetheless
