Today’s excuse for talking about my Mum is #InternationalWomensDay for she truly championed other women throughout her life - mostly she did this through education and educating but also via @LuminaryBakery and investing deeply and intentionally in those around her. ThankyouMum💕

Evidence to suggest >1/3 of a student population experience similar visual hallucinations to people with psychosis but typically attribute them to non-worrying phenomena such as tiredness or the mind playing tricks on them, and are less distressed. This is helpful to tell people!
Good to be able to share our new paper - Exploring the frequency and nature of visual hallucinations in a non-clinical sample @ResearchCNTW @NclDClinPsy https://t.co/5Zc3bTqTGh
Apparently @elonmusk is going to be removing all inactive Twitter accounts. This presumably means my late Mum’s page @SallyBeckwithOT will disappear unless.. something? What can I do? Grateful for your help. Her Twitter space was used so meaningfully and holds much memory for me.
@siancarroll_ Guilt isn’t easy by nature. But it can be meaningfully reframed to consider: they deserve the best version of you &if sessions are numbered due to rules outside their control then it is the kindest decision. Also they don’t want your germs &need to know you take care of yourself.
⭐New research!⭐
We're looking for 16-25 yr olds to complete an online survey.
Your answers will help us better understand #dissociation & #depersonalisation, but you don't need experience of them to take part.

@jamesldowns@eleanorchats Thank you, James! This has come for the perfect time for me and my work in mental health research at the moment. You’re an extremely clear and fluent speaker, so brilliantly well suited to this sort of output.
@LaylaMofrad@WellbeingHubNE @jmorriss_PSY Got excited about @jmorriss_PSY’s chat on nerves/excitement presenting the same in the body as fully agree -appraisal is key- and links to the role of parental support by helping to label (or reframe) emotions and bodily sensations accurately. Scope for therapists too of course!
