Every time I see an ad by @RedCross, my blood starts boiling. They are *still* advertising about the devastation from Helene in WNC, but have been gone from here for MONTHS.

Every time I hear about aid from NC-I am reminded that the state's donation page led to the @UnitedWay of NC-not to a good steward of dollars like @SamaritansPurse .

So I used the new tools that @DataRepublican has so graciously provided to get the financial picture of where the dollars went.

Check out what you're funding, people. STOP giving money to organizations who do NOT give the money to the people!

Y’all keep asking—is there a Trump effect? Yes, but progress is slow. Clean-up crews are finally moving, FEMA is (kind of) responding, but rural communities are still overlooked while cities get the attention.

Here’s what’s worse: some local governments are blocking families from rebuilding their homes—especially trailers. Calling it “trailer trash” doesn’t offend algorithms, but it offends me. Housing is housing. If someone wants to rebuild, why should officials say no?

This isn’t just about housing—it’s about freedom and common sense. If you’re in zoning? Get out of the way.

Today there are 2 tree-trimming trucks, 3 dump trucks, a bulldozer, and 2 Army Corps of Engineers.
