Thanks to everyone who came and supported our Neurodiversity Network event last night. In particular, thank you to @HelenEatonASC for an illuminating presentation. Thanks also to Vikki for sharing the experiences of her family- lots to reflect on and take away.
It’s so lovely to see a school @SpringfieldsAcd actively developing a Neurodiversity network and working with their local community. Warms my heart to hear so many houses talking so positively about Neurodiversity.
@Radley_and_me
What a wonderful evening at our first Neurodiversity Network. Thanks to @drhelenross for speaking and to her awesome superhero companion. Great to see @HelenEatonASC as always and to say hello to Bethan as well, but can’t find your Twitter handle!
@ASMU_Sendplight In the weeks and months since my son left school the layers of distress have peeled off. I feel he’s still battle scarred by the bullying, lack of support and adjustments, but he now has goals and ambitions, and actually cares about things. He wants to live rather than die.
This #AutismAcceptanceWeek, this article looks at some ways Autistic teenagers and their parents can deal with the complicated stuff while keeping their relationship intact.

@royalacademy Really thoughtful discussions and action planning.
@julesbuddle My Christmas post arrived all at once on the 9th Jan. Very little since then. My local small sorting office has 20 less staff than needed.
