Tell @JenniferIde1, @Michael_J_Bond, @WestmorelandATL & @Andre4Atlanta: Your ordinances & budget decisions helped fund anti-Black policing in Atlanta. It's your job to end it. Vote to defund APD by 50%, close the jail immediately & reallocate the resources from cops to care.
@RexChapman Mesmerising, wow. I didn't know there were people really like that, gobsmacking. Well done the young woman for keeping her cool. She probably wanted reaction.
@BilbeBoulton@OwenJones84@JohnShooter8 @TwitterUK Billy, you say allowing someone to be identified is aggressive, but surely the only way forward with social political and moral integrity is for all of us to stand by what we say. If we don't do that what chance is there of a justice system at all. ->Wild west.
@pitbull330@questlove I feel a little uneasy reading about your pride. It smacks a little self assuredness and one thing I've learnt through this as a white person that it is dangerous to be complacent. We must learn about racial bias and how racial privilege works.
@questlove@pitbull330 Well done for keeping your thread and staying with it. I'm impressed, it's soooo difficult and you did it. Keep it up. You inspire me.
@heedygreedy@pitbull330 I must admit I'm frightened for him and feel for him at the same time. I hope he's ok. I'd be relieved to know he's ok and would like to support him in some way.
@superwrxx3@asgrdicns@JGeorgeDrawz How dare you say antifa infects something. Your parents may well have worked against the likes of the fascists in Europe in world war 2. They would have been proud to be antifascist and only 70 years on and the likes of you are twisting things. Disgusting.
@GeeJordan1221 I'm deeply moved by your words. Thank you. You are sooo right. The police often lack emotion intelligence and they were frightened, they are a product of their childhood. Emotional poverty.
@_SJPeace_ Do more than protect it, actively search out and help the USA heal with a lot more positive constructive role models like this, this is excellent. More examples might be a way to build bridges and move away from the tragic direction you're moving.
@ckrauss7 @_ReaalAmerican_ @NBCPolitics @ckrauss7 as a European watching and reading all this, I have a gut feeling that the virus is actually not the main thing on your agenda. What's your problem?
@alyssalimp@sarahcpr @evaandheriud I could so identify with your conversation but never get to let out the end feelings... I felt them intensely whilst watching. So true. Thank you.
@cat_colourfield I hadn't thought of it like that, but it's true. My chemo was like a practice run and this time I'm well enough to focus on things I choose to do, crafting, writing, drawing, jigsaw puzzeling. Thanks for the insight @cat_colourfield
