@madraijamu@ThePublicGift@MattWalshBlog Some women find it empowering that they are making money off it, and they are in control. If she is happy and is consenting I can’t argue - but if she’s doing it for money only and hates it, diff story. And my point was law students who have just graduated don’t always earn 💰
@letitbeta2@Sam_Eng22 @Sarah58671441 @TalkTV@RupertLowe10 I’ll take anything over people refusing ambulances as they can’t afford the cost, simply dying of cancer w/out any treatment, paying extra for skin on skin contact after giving birth, having the first post a baby gets is a hospital bill. I could go on. I’ll always choose NHS.
@sadreiq@Alex25695195487@MattWalshBlog Having “morals” doesn’t always pay the bills. Give you a house deposit. Some of these girls are set up for life -£343m in a year! Most would do very degrading stuff for that amount. And men would still marry her etc for that money too… do it for a short time and leave.
@madraijamu@MattWalshBlog But if she chooses to do this, and thinks she’ll earn more/get further on OF than be a lawyer… highlights the breakdown across society. I worked at a law firm, and apart from magic circle/London, it’s extremely low paid&competitive at the beginning. OF is appealing for 💰💰💰
@laurel35560595@tina0402x 😢 It’s so sad. Juries will find it hard to comprehend and as he wasn’t the person that physically killed her, they will find it hard to give him manslaughter or murder. The poor woman has been let down by so many. The law needs to improve to help more women. #KienaDawes
@LondonMoneyFS Yes I know, but very unlikely to ever happen. The article also talks about longer term fixes - the appetite is not there for customers, especially now when everyone is insisting that the rates will drop. Article is much about nothing.
@stesmithy48@_adam_gal@david99mac@MortgageMikeN2 Yes, I got them through the Asda rewards too - unfortunately my husband ate them all waaay before Christmas and had to buy again 🙄 but skewed my perception and £3.95 is not a deal, sorry supermarkets!
@david99mac@MortgageMikeN2 They are not reduced enough. £3.95 should be the starting price not their lowest offer - may have been skewed by previous prices but they were 2 for £8 last year… now they’re £6 each before Xmas. Nope!
@LondonMoneyFS@DailyMailCeleb Bought at height of market, thought that they could make a profit and couldn’t. As divorcing want a quick sale… in some areas it’s going to be a while to get the covid prices again.
@filterkaffe1337 @robbaleyallan@peterrhague Unsure in the UK as haven’t experienced it. My husband is from 🇿🇦 and there are some horror stories there. He couldn’t pay for his treatment (age 23) after a car crash so they woke him from a coma and sent him home with meds. NHS is not perfect, but it’s better than 100% private.
