@MasterChefUK @BBCiPlayer My son , 14 , type one for 11 years has never been denied food . We just have to give the right amount of insulin for whatever he eats . Denying type one kids certain foods is only going to lead to rebelling against their condition in the long term.

@BBCWalesNews So very sad , but thank you for sharing ; my son aged 2 was sent home from the doctor telling us to come back in a week to see if he had stopped drinking ! Fortunately 3 days later we saw a different doctor , he was diagnosed with type one with a blood sugar of 41. He is now 11.

@baby_hypo @DigiBeteUK We’ve never been able to avoid the breakfast spike , Harry’s now 11, diagnosed at 2. Whatever we’ve tried has never worked . He has a good hba1c so we don’t stress about it now
