Temi, 6, and Mary, 5, have been homeless for six months.

The family have been moved 10 times to different temporary properties.

Their primary school is in Peckham, but they’re staying in a guesthouse an hour away.

At their school, over HALF of the 300 pupils are also homeless.

I agree with this. The water companies do not compete in a free market. No one has a choice over which company provides their water, so they should not be privatised. Water is essential for life. It should never have been put in private hands.

The government are complicit in allowing water companies to dump raw sewage into our rivers.

They've also allowed them to siphon off £72,000,000,000 of public money to shareholders.

Water must be brought under democratic public control.

34 pairs of shoes to represent the 34 children who died in temporary housing from 2019-2021, with homelessness recorded as a possible contributing factor. A whole classroom of children.

Change is long overdue. We look forward to working with all parties to make this a priority.

It was disappointing to see housing minister Rachel Maclean link the housing crisis to small boats crossings yesterday.

These crossings are a tiny percentage of overall UK migration and housing demand. To blame them for the government’s poor record on housing is pretty shameful.
