Bye folks 👋 I am not posting or interacting on this toxic @X platform anymore. Find me on Instagram & Threads, and maybe @bluesky if I can find the time.
Incapacity benefit is just £62.85 per week for those under retirement age and £77.70 for those over it.
The attendance allowance for the Lords is up to £361 *per day*.
Which is unsustainable?

With the help of https://t.co/XcOIthAOvB and funding from NG ward councillors we have started the #NorrisGreenLitterNetwork to help empower residents to take action on litter and the local environment. More info here https://t.co/3i6AVwuHF8
@MHowie81 BTW Do you know about @LitterNetworks Hard to explain in short what they do in a few characters but check out the Lpool Networks. Residents tacking action.
@MHowie81 Completely agree. The KLT process is a farce. It took them 6 weeks to reply to an email I sent last year (with two reminders) asking what it was they could support a local community initiative with. Got offered litterpickers! That was it. 🤷♀️
Mick Lynch is without doubt the standout trade union leader of his generation. Whether that be slapping down politicians live on air, putting ill-informed journalists in their place, or simply being a decent human being and a great friend - Mick, you’re gonna be missed.
Happy birthday & best wishes in retirement to the legend that is Mick Lynch!
As @RMTunion General Secretary, he’s been bold, principled & inspiring — a true champion for his members & the working class.
Mick’s leadership strengthened the union movement & he’ll be sorely missed.
