@rejserin@jk_rowling Maybe ask the hundreds of sportswomen who have been marginalised by transgenders competing unfairly against them. I’d say they’re feeling active harm being done against them
@kennymick74@NormaFoleyTD1 Does this mean that the penny pinching antics by the ministers representative organisation POBAL are going to stop penalising children and their parents for what they see as “underattendsnce” in their childcare services ????
@dcediy @NormaFoleyTD1 Does this mean that the penny pinching antics by your representative organisation POBAL are going to stop penalising children and their parents for what they see as “underattendsnce” in their childcare services ????
@notesonthefront There are 4300 providers in this country so it’s not really relevant to the lived experiences of the other 4290 providers who are continuously struggling to make that DIRTY word “profit” !!!!!!
@Education_Ire SNAs with only one module of a level 5 and first year primary school degree students fresh out of school themselves teaching classes. Do parents know these unqualified people are teaching their children ??
@JeffYoungerShow @ParaPooper320 Yep that’s right you stand on your principles but it can be a cold place. Your boys will think you abandoned them no one around will tell them any different. I disagree with your theory on supervised visits. Your boys will see what hell you’re prepared to go through to see them
@EYEducatorIrl@rodericogorman @dcediy Also remember when you’re on the doors in the next 48 days don’t let anybody forget it is the Green Party that decimated a whole childcare sector. No point in cutting the cost of childcare by 50% minister if there are no childcare places left. #exhaustedsector
@VirginMediaNews Great initiative however I Wonder how they overcome the HACCP implications of serving hot food !!!! And the food appears to come in tinfoil containers can’t imagine the Green Party being delighted with that!!!!! Huge amount of waste
@EarlyChildhdIRL It would be better to reinstate your training department which has been dismantled under your current regime. This would support your paying members to have full staff teams. ECI had one of the best ECCE level 5 and 6 training departments I cannot understand why you scrapped it.
@foxbob915@sharononeill3 Core funding has increased this year by 0.03 cent per hour per child an increase of €1.35 per week for a full time place. Core funding has increased by 0.02 cent per afterschool child meaning .50 cent per week per child. Fee freezes for parents. Funding needs to be increased
@rodericogorman Meanwhile minister the sector is being diluted by removing education from our title the latest casualties being within the level 5 & 6 qualifications. We were promised a review of the renaming of our sector from education to learning by your predecessor but yet again let down
@kopdublin81@thisweekrte@MurphyDunne And when the funding body Pobal arrive to do their audit they spend 8 hours going through roll books to seek any “under attendance” by children ie a grandparent collecting a grandchild an hour early on a Tuesday Then they recoup the “overpayment “ from your next funding no appeal
@StephenBrowne4 I’d say taxi drivers are sick to the back teeth of government telling them how to run their private business everyone seems to have their noses in it
@EarlyBa@ncn4children@MaynoothCAO@EarlyChildhdIRL Fantastic news well done all. Now we need to encourage the world of academia to push the department to recognise their graduates by advocating for full recognition on graduation rather than having to wait three years to attract the graduate premium uplift in core funding.
@MaryMoloneyie It is indeed a great day to be celebrated and now we need to world of academia to lobby the government and @rodericogorman to respect your graduates and ensure they receive the graduate uplift funding immediately on graduation rather than have to wait 3 years for this funding
