Core funding has increased by 0.02 cent per afterschool child meaning .50 cent per week per child. Fee freezes for parents. Funding needs to be increased

@rodericogorman Meanwhile minister the sector is being diluted by removing education from our title the latest casualties being within the level 5 & 6 qualifications. We were promised a review of the renaming of our sector from education to learning by your predecessor but yet again let down

Now we need to encourage the world of academia to push the department to recognise their graduates by advocating for full recognition on graduation rather than having to wait three years to attract the graduate premium uplift in core funding.

@MaryMoloneyie It is indeed a great day to be celebrated and now we need to world of academia to lobby the government and @rodericogorman to respect your graduates and ensure they receive the graduate uplift funding immediately on graduation rather than have to wait 3 years for this funding
