Helicity Drive project: designing a next-generation mission concept that could one day extend IMAP’s legacy, enabling a space science mission to go to the outer heliosphere to explore it in new ways from six orthogonal directions beyond its boundaries.
Congratulations to the @NASA IMAP team on today’s exciting launch!
The Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) will unlock new insights into our heliosphere.
At Helicity Space, we’re honored to be building on this vision through our NASA NIAC–funded
and we will be speaking about how Helicity’s innovation is shaping the next era of space mobility. We look forward to connecting with industry leaders, investors and partners driving the future of space.
Helicity Space is thrilled to join Lockheed Martin’s #LMVdemoday next week as 1 of just 16 startups selected. We’ll have a booth on-site to showcase the future of dynamic space operations and nuclear propulsion,
@Fusion_Industry just released its annual report, noting that more than $2.5 billion has been invested in the global fusion industry in the past year alone. At Helicity, we see this as a powerful signal – fusion is no longer a distant dream.
Today, we launch the 2025 Global Fusion Industry report - our fifth annual snapshot of where industry stands.
With numbers reported directly from the companies - it gives an update on investment, commercial timelines, milestones, & company profiles.

@ElmarMoelzer The Helicity team is safe so far, thank you for the kind message. We are heartbroken for others in our community who continue to be impacted.
Round 2! Looking forward to participating in @balerionspace's next Nuclear Energy Space & Defense Tech Investor Summit this week. We're excited to connect with industry to advocate for the potential commercial, civil and defense applications of fusion propulsion in space.
We so enjoyed attending last week's Nuclear Energy Space & Defense Tech Investor Summit in Dallas, Texas, hosted by @balerionspace, to share more about how fusion will be used to usher in the next era of space transportation.
Tomorrow: Join us in the Pecan Room at Dallas Nuclear Energy Space & Defense Tech Investor Summit to discuss advanced propulsion for in-space applications. See you there!
We're excited to participate in @balerionspace's Dallas Nuclear Energy Space & Defense Tech Investor Summit next week to connect with industry about the future of in-space applications of #fusionenergy, including its different commercial, civil & defense uses.
We are thrilled to announce the addition of former NASA associate administrator Jim Reuter and retired four-star General William L. Shelton to Helicity Space’s Strategic Advisory Board. (1/3)
“Willie and Jim’s extensive understanding of both space and national security will not only bolster our current board, but also enhance Helicity’s mission of increasing access to deep space,” said Marta Calvo, co-founder and chief operations officer. (2/3)
As we gather with friends & family throughout the holiday season, we're thankful for the incredible Helicity team, dedicated to the development of in-space fusion propulsion for a future where journeys to distant destinations, like Mars, are faster, safer and more sustainable.
