Visto desde la Casa Blanca, nada es exactamente lo que parece.
Medios como Axios son utilizados con frecuencia para difundir filtraciones interesadas, a veces procedentes de quienes menos se sospecha. Más allá del ruido, el equipo de Rubio sigue llevando las riendas de la política hacia Venezuela. La persona que gestiona ese expediente en el Consejo de Seguridad Nacional procede del Departamento de Estado, una señal clara de dónde continúa concentrándose la dirección política. La última reunión de llamada al orden con Delcy fue encabezada por gente del equipo de Rubio.
Sí, ha habido tensiones con el Departamento de Energía y con otros sectores de la Administración. Pero esos sectores parten con una desventaja: no conocen Venezuela, a la oposición ni el larguísimo historial de empresarios e intermediarios vinculados al petróleo, el asfalto y el cemento que han entrado y salido de Washington prometiendo soluciones rápidas.
Alrededor de Venezuela existen grandes intereses económicos, contratos frustrados, deudas impagadas y grupos que llevan tiempo boicoteando a Rubio y a su equipo para modificar el rumbo. Hasta ahora no lo han conseguido.
Resulta significativo que quienes menos apoyos reales conservan dentro de la oposición venezolana sean precisamente quienes llevan semanas, meses e incluso más de un año anunciando el fracaso del equipo de Rubio. Ese fracaso no se ha producido. Tampoco hay indicios serios de que esté a punto de producirse, porque Trump está muy contento y ha dejado claro que su apoyo a Delcy está condicionado a que esta haga lo que Rubio le pide, sin más.

TIMING MATTERS: Five Months BEFORE the FBI opened a criminal probe in May 2017 targeting @POTUS as a potential Russian asset after he fired @Comey

FBI investigators already KNEW by January 2017 there were "serious questions about the reliability of the Steele (dossier) reporting..." according to DOJ watchdog Michael Horowitz.

The flawed Steele dossier underpinned the Russia collusion allegations.

The newly declassified 2017 FBI record @WhiteHouse also stands out because it cites "multiple open source reports" as justification.

One of the most concerning elements of the FBI Russia collusion probes was "circular reporting" Here's how it works:

FBI officials (or their proxies) would leak information to a reporter, who would then publish the leak.

The same FBI officials would then cite the resulting media story to justify further investigative actions — including surveillance warrants for a former Trump campaign aide.

Internal DOJ investigations would conclude Comey was fired for a number of reasons, including his mishandling of the Clinton case which violated "long-standing department practice and protocol.”

If the Pennsylvania Democrat votes YES on the SAVE America Act, Presler says he’ll back Fetterman’s 2028 reelection campaign.
