Tata Power has officially revealed why it chose Odisha over Andhra Pradesh for its ₹6,675 crore, 10 GW Solar Ingot & Wafer Manufacturing Plant at Gopalpur.

The company cited:

Better state incentives
Lower power costs
Ready industrial land
Strong infrastructure support

Imagine if this decision had gone the other way. Some BJD supporters would have spent days claiming Odisha had "lost another mega investment."

But now that Odisha has actually won a major investment against stiff competition, the silence is deafening.
