In the LftP that showed us the new relic weapons for the first time Yoshi P specifically said that they want to show the content now because they know it will be datamined anyway.

@picklezest @its_taelia Why has this only become an issue now? There have been recolours in the rift since the very first rift was released. Recolours aren't taking away from original cosmetics, as shown from the Reverence rift that had no recolours, we didn't get any more original skins instead?

@actualvillainTV @zadeyzz Yes in the paid track. Every single rift pass, aside from Reverence (which mind you people were PISSED about NOT having recolours), has included 2 recoloured outfits in the paid track and 2 in the free track. This rift has an extra recolour. What is the issue?

@Gwenuinely002 @anxiousgasp You're right, there no way to defend this because they actually have done nothing wrong!

They gave us the 6 new skins like usual, the 2 community cosmetics as usual, and instead of the 4 recolours like usual, they have given us 5. So we actually get an extra recolour!

@HollowWacc @sir_herisson Saying that the recolors are lazy or that the same characters keep getting skins is a completely separate issue.

Your original post was complaining that the rift contained 5 recolours. None of these replaced original cosmetics.

I don't see anything that has changed?

Every single rift since the start of the rift pass has included 6 new skins plus recolours plus community skins.

The only thing you could criticize here is quality but we are getting more now.

@HollowWacc @fiji_daze That isnt true. Every rift, including Reverence and the rifts before and after it have included 6 brand new skins and 2 community skins. However Reverence had no recolours. The issue was that there was no recolours. It was the exact same as every other rift re original cosmetics

Also the screenshot is taken in OC too.

Whenever they're posting about new patches they never include store content in the patch posts. Store content is always posted on its own individually.

@johnbartist @ActualAero Same here, was literally thinking of saving up money for one to play games like Revelation, Resident Evil, Silent Hill etc on the big screen.

But yeah no thanks, I'll stick with my PC and Switch 2. No reason for me to buy a console I can't buy physically on.

@Adept091 @xNanagi Oh if it interests you then I do highly recommend it. It's where I've made my bestest of friends playing XIV. Some people can be toxic but if you just stick with the goods eggs you'll have a great time. Nothing beats the feeling of clearing your first Savage and Ultimates.
