Be careful when buying tickets online from @AvantiWestCoast tried to pay for tickets and 3 times with different cards got "sorry, we couldn't take payment" but have been charged for 3 transactions. Perhaps opt for a safer method of buying your ticket. #avantiwestcoast#scamalert
@AvantiWestCoast Thanks. Already tried that but number busy. I think other customers are finding the same problem. Perhaps @AvantiWestCoast should close its online ticketing until it can safely take payment to PCI standards again? @PCISSC
@AvantiWestCoast Yes, payments pending but now several hundred pounds ringfenced until your system is fixed enough to refund me. So I'm effectively paying for your failure with money I won't get back for several days. And because of this I can't book alternative travel arrangements.
Just as a warning to others, I think that @lastminute_com may have ceased trading. In that they are impossible to contact (all phone numbers cut off and live chat in a loop) and not completing flight bookings. Perhaps best avoided.
Travel with @FlySWISS at your own risk. Six days after baggage went missing, 8 calls to Swiss Air customer services and hours spent online no one seems able to register the bag as missing let alone track it down as no one takes responsibility. The message is "We don't care."
