@abhijeet_dipke This is call concerned about public safety that elected him to do the same. But then you will not understand it.

[Aravind @aravind]

Elon Musk's recent thread calling Ambani as PM looks written by a "South Asian", and definitely not like his usual posting style.

Excessive politeness, explanatory style with "so", starting a para with "Also". They are all a give away. Just read them for yourself.

So it seems like a coordinated operation run by the same DS which attacks India's companies and capitalists, but now it's using Elon to make it political.

I am at a loss to understand why Elon is getting influenced this way and letting himself be used to generate animosity with 1.4 billion people.

Especially at a time when his companies are gaining acceptance and good traction in India. If he thinks half the Indians may support him due to politics, he's mistaken.

For the small number of Indians getting carried away politically, and taking side with these foreigners interfering in India's sovereignty:

Do understand Starlink is not being unjustifiably stopped. They are in the same regulatory approval status as India's Jio and Airtel.

They have already got required licenses, setup required infra on the ground, and the distributorship to start operations once the final approval is given. Which is also expected soon along with Jio and Airtel.

But Elon seems to be very frustrated that Starlink wasn't approved two years ago when he clearly could have monopolized Satellite internet in India. Now, with Jio and Airtel competing in parallel for satellite net, it is super tough for Starlink.

So, as an Indian, it is important to understand while getting access to newer tech shouldn't be banned by GoI like pre-1990s India, it is also important to have a choice, competition, and clarity on security implications.

The politicians who have suddenly done a 180 degree in taking sides with Elon are the same who were, two years ago, questioning India even considering allowing Starlink claiming "Modi sold out to Elon."

We need to understand these sudden attacks on PM and India's companies are being done in tandem with other, on the ground, operations in India to destabilize and delegitimize the govt - which too has been completely organized via American social media.

The same Elon talking about how India will benefit with Starlink, when it is actually being considered for approval, doesn't say a word about how China - which bans most American companies in strategic sectors and never even considered Starlink - will benefit from it.

From this alone you can understand the agenda. India has enough services, network, the NDRF, and the Army, who can setup communication anywhere, to save our men women and children during a disaster.

Beware of such white savior syndrome. Need to remind ourselves, East India Company came in saying "Indians will benefit from western trade."

[The Sacred Scroll @SacredScroll]

Gloves are off now, Elon.

Still no licence? Wrong. Starlink got its Unified Licence with GMPCS authorisation from the DoT in June 2025. You know that. Your own VP posted about it.

Ambani is the real boss?

Ambani's Jio lobbied for a spectrum auction. India gave you administrative allocation, the exact thing you asked for. Then you signed distribution deals with Jio and Airtel. If Ambani is blocking you, why is he your reseller?

Five years of complying?

In 2021 you took pre-order money from Indians with no licence at all. The DoT had to order you to stop and refund people. That was your first move in India.

India's home ministry reportedly froze clearances after Starlink terminals showed up in Iran, where you aren't even licensed. Before that, our army pulled one out of a militant cache in Manipur. Your own company says talks are active and productive. So which version is true: the one your VP tells Delhi, or the one you tell 200 million followers?

The spectrum rules were cleared last month and are headed to Cabinet. You're weeks from the finish line, and you're throwing a tantrum in public to rush a sovereign country's security review.

India isn't a market you can bully on X. Wait your turn.

@elonmusk Hello @elonmusk , majority of the rwplies to your no brainer tweets are coming from free data provided by JIO! Now, sit in a corner and cry more!

[S-400 @Hello_S400]

@elonmusk Dear @letsblinkit @InstamartS @ZeptoNow can you please deliver BURNOL to ElonMusk?

[Suresh @surnell]

Good bye Blue tick. Maybe peanuts for @elonmusk but not paying a paisa to fund his interference in our affairs

Key disadvantages of allowing Starlink in India include:

National security risks: Foreign-controlled network limits India's ability to shut off service in sensitive border areas or ensure availability during crises. Past reports of terminals with militants or smugglers raise misuse concerns.

Data sovereignty issues: Laser links could route traffic outside Indian gateways, complicating monitoring and lawful interception.

High costs: Hardware and monthly fees likely far exceed affordable terrestrial options like Jio or Airtel, limiting rural access.

Market impact: Could disrupt local telecoms and foster over-reliance on a single US provider instead of domestic alternatives.

[Aravind @aravind]

Regulate reels. If not at least ban their monetization. A lot of issues for India created from outside will end.

An average Indian uses 28 GB data at one of the world's lowest rates. Of that nearly 20 GB is used for useless dance and drama reels.

Freeing that will free a lot of capital for Indian ISPs to provide internet to very remote areas.

And also better internet to serious customers and content makers using it for educational content, work, video conferencing and such.

Squeezing Indian companies to provide cheap data that's only used by India's adversaries without a challenge to program Indians using fake news and perversion is suicide.

Every time i am angry on Modiji for whatever reason it is, this guy ensures my respect to Modiji only increases!

[Rahul Gandhi @RahulGandhi]

Welcome to India, Elon.

Wait till you discover the other guy.

भारत में mobile phone... आज Gaming console भी है... और creation का studio भी बन गया है: PM @narendramodi

[Shivam Vahia @ShivamVahia]

The leader of opposition - Rahul Gandhi - has not once uttered a word about an Indian captain that fought a suicidal terrorist and saved the lives of 174 individuals.

But within hours, he has opened his arms for a foreigner who is trying to incite terrorism and militancy in India by supplying cyber weapons.

This isn't sedition anymore, this is outright TREASON.

[Navroop Singh @TheNavroopSingh]

This is the White House going full on Modi after India refused to budge on Trade Deal. MEA & FM both cleared stance and now just like Bessent did on Russian Oil arbitrage last year, Elon is now naming Mukesh Ambani while fact is none of the players have so far got commercial license and security clearance.

Jio, One Web by Airtel and Starlink all are waiting in line. This sudden outburst of Elon against India is managed by White House. I would anyday trust Jio & Airtel over Starlink having my data and causing chaos just like it did in Iran & Ukraine in regime change ops. Americans are really pissed off with India.
