Hello, I am a special education student at @IUSoutheast who canโt wait to get out into the world of education. I believe that all students are capable and deserving of learning. #pstpln#w401#celebratemonday
Today I used @NASA website https://t.co/0DppQ6UVnj to give my students a virtual tour of the moon. I loved getting to give them a tool that will help them prepare for their upcoming test! Thank you @NASA for having such amazing educational resources!#pstpln#w401
Drum Dream Girl by Margarita Engle. This page is special to me because not only is it a sneak peak at the theme of the book but it encourages all students to follow their dreams! This book will definitely be in my classroom library! #booksnaps#w401#WomenInSTEM
@Katie_Kutz14@McMillenThomas1@megan_parkEDU I think it would be that special education does not mean less than or different. It just means to provide extra support and services so that ALL students can succeed! Thanks for the great question!
@caahayes A1: on a scale of 1-10 Iโd rate myself at about a 6. I have used technology in some of my lesson plans I have prepared for practicum but only after I have had a lot of experience with the tech.
@caahayes A4: I have found that in a special education setting, technology is an easy way to differentiate instruction so that I can meet several studentsโ IEP goals within the same lesson and without my students feeling left out. Tech helps me reach all of my students at their level.
@AshleyKZink@IUSoutheast I can say that Iโm excited about your future as an educator as well! Seeing how you turn your love into interactive and meaningful instruction is amazing!
@Ms_Stiffey@cultofpedagogy This looks like a great resource! Youโll definitely do a great job of encouraging your students inside and outside of your classroom.
