@DehennaDavison The government hasn't explained the detail. How much will each company have to contribute? If the state is only going to contribute say 40%, then it's actually a huge cut. How can businesses survive? It will lead to mass unemployment and have a lasting effect on the economy.

@MetroUK We should never accept this many people dying. The 2nd highest death toll in the world - with 3 extra weeks to prepare. It could have been prevented if Johnson had turned up for work, taken the threat seriously and acted quicker to protect us. He is totally unfit to lead. Resign.

@Andrew_Adonis I can speak from my own experience and the parents who I know around me (anecdotal): nearly all parents want the schools to remain closed - or continue with current cover for key workers - as the science isn't clear about whether it safe or not.
