@Bundeskatzler In my experience Hinge was the only dating app worth using at all. All the other apps got me literally zero matches.
Compared to a few years ago as well I'm way more successful too. Probably a mix of personal growth and an overall shift of attitude towards dating apps.

What usually happens is that if you do this too often and are not otherwise valuable to your employer they will find a reason or use the next best legal justification to fire you for something else. Labour laws only go so far. You are not invincible. The bosses have loopholes.

In some countries calling in sick feels like asking permission. In Germany it is stating a medical fact.

@charybdeez So I skip them and midway through or at the end I go back and read the introduction. When I buy the book I am excited for the content. Reading the introduction feels like a chore and already made me put down books I have enjoyed a lot after retrying and skiooing the introduction

@charybdeez 90% Of prefaces I've read were useless. Mostly these go over the text you are about to read but nothing means anything to you since you still have to read up on it. Killed my enthusiasm for a text way too often and they only clicked for me after reading a good chunk of the book.
