💥Frozen blackcurrants Blackcurrants, addedMutual trust is invisible yet extremely powerful; we never hide secrets from one another, knowing the other will listen without harsh unfair judgment or blame.
A young girl swims into my lane, apologizing profusely. “It’s okay,” I say, smiling. “We can share.” She smiles back, and we swim side by side, her strokes small and quick, mine longer and steady.
Mr Peter Obi @PeterObi come & listen to yourself.
You will be granting interviews and be visiting states if you become president, are you kidding me?
No wonder you did nothing in Anambra. You visited places in Anambra yet you did not know that over 77 communities have no schools.
This morning in Egypt, I attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd El Alamein International Airshow at El Alamein International Airport. The ceremony was presided over by the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, accompanied by his Cypriot counterpart, Nikos Christodoulides.
The occasion afforded us the opportunity to meet major OEMs from around the world and engage in discussions regarding upgrading our aviation infrastructure across the country. I also met the team from Saudi Arabia and held discussions concerning the early preparations for next year’s Hajj.
These are all the henchmen of Kwankwaso leaving him in droves everyday to the APC. But, again, let us comfort those who are deluded: the good people of Kano will ignore all these leaders and follow only one man!
We can’t wait for January 16th, 2027 (God preserving all of us).
The Politics of Convenient Amnesia: Atiku is The New Peter Obi
In Nigerian politics, consistency is rarely a virtue, but the brazen somersault executed by former VP @atiku over fuel subsidy removal sets a whopping new benchmark in political cynicism.
Atiku’s crusade against fuel subsidies was once the foundational rock of his political identity.
Atiku forgot, Between 1999 and 2007, how as VP under President Olusegun Obasanjo, he chaired the federal committee executing phased subsidy removals, lecturing the nation on why consumption subsidies were fiscal suicide.
Atiku forgot how his rhetoric turned militant in the run-up to the 2023 elections. Speaking on November 14, 2022, at the Lagos Business School Alumni Day, Atiku blasted fuel subsidies as a monumental “fraud” that had to be eliminated to fund critical infrastructure.
Atiku forgot how On December 20, 2022, he boldly vowed to eradicate petrol subsidies within his first 100 days in office, a commitment he hammered across campaign rostrums.
Atiku forgot how on Jan & Feb 2023 he has it as a sacred pillar of his policy manifesto, My Covenant with Nigerians.
Even in May and June 2023, Atiku forgot his post-removal criticisms targeted only implementation speed but never the policy itself.
Fast-forward to August 20th to 22nd, 2026, as a result of wailers frustration and cheap political capital, Atiku shamelessly flipped the script, pledging to restore fuel subsidy. When called out on this monumental contradiction, his camp scrambled between August 24th and 26th, 2026, offering clumsy rationalizations about fighting "economic fraud".
This is not empathy, it is brazen hypocrisy. Atiku is trying to insult our intelligence. How does a policy condemned for 24 years as fiscal poison suddenly become a national savior the moment political desperation knocks?
This sort of flip-flop is @PeterObi 's forte. How and when did Atiku become Peter Obi?
The reverse gear wouldnt surprise anyone if engaged by Obi 'The Grass-Cutter' .
Atiku has revealed that his lifelong economic convictions were never principles at all, but just disposable props traded away the second populist pandering felt convenient.
Just In: I Was Offered ₦500 Billion to Contest Against Peter Obi Just to Split His South-South Votes, But I Rejected the Offer Because Igbos Stood by Me in My Time of Need — Goodluck Jonathan
A political storm has erupted on social media after former President Goodluck Jonathan was alleged to have revealed that he once received a staggering ₦500 billion offer to contest against Peter Obi in a bid to reduce the Labour Party candidate’s support in Nigeria’s South-South region.
Obi @PeterObi said we should not count on physical infrastructure.
We should only look out for civility and order in governance.
This @PeterObi is empty headed, a complete dullard.
I am curious. A man who was once governor and has spent decades in business somehow ends up with people he met in 2022 as his main political allies and aides.
Where are his old friends? Where are his former aides? Where are the people who watched him govern? Why is he surrounded by socio-political neophytes, clout chasers and current affairs influencers?
What does it say about a man that not one person from his years in office or his years in business has followed him here? That silence from his past is the loudest thing about his present.
When you think about it, it does say everything really.
Yesterday, I joined His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno @_PastorUmoEno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, on board Ibom Air for the maiden international flight from Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, to Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana.
The flight officially marks the launch of international operations at the new international wing of the airport, following approval from the Federal Government. This milestone positions Akwa Ibom State as a rising hub for regional and global air connectivity.
