@angiebeeb The attitude of most replies here towards Politicans indicates to me why so many TD's are retiring from Politics. She is in the lucky position that she can afford to financially. If Politics was all about money and power they'd all be running in the elections.

Buzzing with bees in summer, Goldfinches feasting on seeds and Blackbirds pulling worms for their young in season

Cork Airport welcomes the announcement by Minister @lawlessj at @Dept_Transport of €2.284 million of funding towards sustainability projects including:

☀️ A new 1.74MW solar farm to supply 25% of the airport electricity requirements

🔌 Two new electric ground power units for aircraft

Works on the installation of the new solar farm and electric ground power units will take place in Q4 2025.

@davidmcw Why are businesses paying significantly more for electricity than residential customers? My last bills with Bord Gais had unit costs including VAT for the house of 29.5 cent and my business 40 cent. I'm gone from them now, but there's still a differential.
