@IAMRoadSmart I forgot to mention, I was driving a Metro which got stuck up to its axles in the sand. As I drove away from the beach, I left a trail of sand - and there were piles of sand around my car when I went to drive it of the ferry!!

@IAMRoadSmart Getting stuck in the sand in Northern Ireland a couple of hours before the ferry was due to leave, and a nice kind chap fetched his tractor and towed me out - made it in time to get ferry home! (this was a long time ago!)
