Just about every Starter for Newman wore a NOCA jersey. Too many to name.
It’s been a pleasure watching those Seniors since they were 13. We blended them with kids from all over, played them at all the big events, & played them UP.
This is why we prioritize Development!

HABER AND LOOP LEAD NEWMAN TO 9–1 WIN WITH COMPLETE TEAM PERFORMANCE
On April 11th, Newman built a 9–1 win piece by piece, using disciplined at-bats, aggressive baserunning, and dominant pitching to control the game from start to finish.
Newman struck first in the bottom of the first. Charles Wilson (@scharlesw2026) singled to start the rally, and Christian Sauska (@SauskaChristian) followed with a line-drive RBI single to center field to bring him home and give Newman a 1–0 lead.
Newman extended the lead in the second inning with impact hitting. Jack Falgoust (@JackFalgoust10) drove a triple to right field, scoring Malcolm Schairer (@MalcolmSchairer) and George Loop (@georgeloop8) to push the lead to 3–0.
While the offense built the advantage, Henry Haber (@henryhaber26) controlled the game on the mound. HL Bourgeois threatened early, putting runners in scoring position, but Haber worked out of trouble and, with help from the defense, kept them off the board.
Newman added to the lead in the fourth inning through execution. Charles Wilson put the ball in play to bring in a run, continuing Newman’s ability to convert opportunities without needing extra-base hits.
The game broke open in the fifth inning as Newman strung together disciplined at-bats and capitalized on pressure. Malcolm Schairer reached to start the rally, George Loop delivered an RBI single, Tanner Robert was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to force in a run, Jack Falgoust added an RBI single, and Charles Wilson worked a bases-loaded walk to cap the inning and extend the lead to 9–0.
Defensively, Newman backed its pitchers throughout. Wilson and Villere teamed up to throw out two would-be base stealers, shutting down HL Bourgeois’s running game and eliminating multiple scoring threats. And Schairer's strong arm from right field cut down a runner at home.
On the mound, Newman dictated the game from start to finish. Haber earned the win with 5.0 scoreless innings, allowing just 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 2 and consistently working out of any early pressure. George Loop entered in relief and closed the final two innings, allowing just 1 run while continuing to attack the zone and generate routine outs to secure the win.
