I was reading the new NYSC reform and I was amazed they didn’t factor in security. Corps members get kidnapped and posted to flashpoints with nothing but a uniform.

Israel and South Korea train their youth to defend their nation. We train ours to make hand sanitizer for graduation day.

Add weapon handling to camp. Build corps members who can respond in a crisis, not ones who freeze and wait for soldiers already stretched thin nationwide.

A country that won’t arm its youth with basic defense skills has decided their lives are negotiable my people.
