I have a 3.5 yrs PhD scholarship @Insigneo to develop a computational biomechanical model of treatments for spine metastases, cosupervised @MechanobioD, and linked to @MetastraProject! Contact me asap [email protected] if you are interested and UK student! Start Oct-23
We are excited to share our new versatile technique "BEE-ST" that allows precise quantification of hard tissue (🦴and🦷) development and healing across species!

We are hiring a PhD candidate for the biomechanical background of hip spine syndrome-experimentally driven computational modelling. Fully paid 4-year PhD position at @MedUniGraz under the supervision of Prof. Hammer and @HenysPetr from @TULiberec. #biomechanics#Engineering
@LukaszKaczmarcz@mofemjoseph I am looking forward to using the new generic skeleton integration of gradient in @mofemjoseph as I found myself it pretty tricky to implement with sufficient accuracy.
We attempted to handle bone mineral density as a non-stationary random field with a non-trivial correlation structure. See our pilot study https://t.co/Mc2IbL3Aee on @biorxivpreprint. Great collaboration @TULiberec with @VUTvBrne @UniKarlova@UKEHamburg and @MedUniGraz
Ever wondered the smallest stiffness of a structure? See our latest study on @arxiv! Great collab @TULiberec@UniKarlova and @DanasSu

@amir_zadpoor Then one can continue with @fenicsproject and create a computational model of tissue with the possibility to map CT onto FE mesh to obtain spatially varying elasticity (not a part of the library, but I can help with that). All those libs. are #opensource and live in #Python.
