Absolutely remarkable.
Celina QB Parker Wynk walks on senior night with his fellow Bulldogs and family, just over a month after suffering a spinal injury on this very field.
What an emotional moment for him, his family and entire Celina community.
Welcome home No. 8 💚
On August 23, the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Totalitarian Regimes, we honor all who suffered under authoritarian rule—including Yugoslavia's communist regime. According to @hrw, Yugoslavia held more political prisoners in the 1980s than Czechoslovakia, Hungary & Poland combined.
🗣️ Luis Enrique: I coached Leo Messi at Barcelona, and today I can no longer stay silent because I want FIFA to treat this issues before the next World Cup.
Messi is undoubtedly one of the greatest footballers I've ever worked with. His talent is unquestionable. But greatness should never be used to justify what many fans now see as controversial decisions.
What I witnessed in this World Cup has left me frustrated and disappointed. The officiating, the inconsistency, and the perception that certain teams receive favorable treatment are damaging the credibility of football.
For me, Cristiano Ronaldo's legacy was built on hard work, discipline, consistency, and merit. Whether you support him or not, his achievements speak for themselves without needing controversy to define them.
As a coach, I will never support anything that compromises the integrity of the game. Football should be won on the pitch-not through decisions that leave millions of fans questioning the fairness of the competition.
I'd rather lose with honor than win surrounded by controversy.
FIFA must protect the integrity of footk before fans lose faith in the beautiful game
🇨🇦☀️🌬️ : Mark Carney told Canadians he would make Canada climate competitive because that is what the world wants.
🛢️🪔In reality the world wants cheap oil & gas to power their economies, ON DEMAND.
Canadians are losing out on prosperity while the WEF is borrowing us into bankruptcy.
All to fuel WEF green agenda profits that provide little to no benefit to Canadians, compared to the cost of all the new debt we pay interest on.
Sadly most Canadians don't know, or simply do not care that our nation is being run by tyrants.
Tens of billions are spent every year convincing Canadians we are a source of climate change, despite Canada having 10 hectares of trees, for every single Canadian.
There are only 42 million people in Canada. It's abusive and comically absurd to believe we change the planetary temperature.
Until Canadians demand accountability and honesty, we will continue to be losers. Struggling as tent cities grow and public shaming of citizens, based on race, hits a breaking point.
A Catholic nun has been stabbed to death by a migrant in Croatia.
The unnamed migrant man attacked Sister Marija Tatjana Zrno in the street in a religiously-motivated terror attack.
If she were a Jewish rabbi or a Muslim imam, her face would be plastered across every mainstream channel and on the front page of every newspaper.
But she was a Catholic nun.
And, just like the genocide of Catholics in Nigeria or the street killings of Christians in Pakistan, the world is turning a blind eye.
Where are the headlines?
Where are the protests?
Where is the outrage?
Why are they silent? Ah, yes. Because it isn’t “fashionable” to care about Christian lives.
Maria deserved better.
And if the rest of the world won’t do anything, we must step up and speak out. For Maria and every Christian like her who has lost their life for practicing their faith.
We must pray for her peace.
And fight for her justice.
Remember Sister Marija Tatjana Zrno.
@TheStaad Friend, the truth is a lion that need not be defended, but only set free. The lion will take care of the rest. Appreciate all your positive messages.
@wrdcsc@Middle_Mtn1 Aquinas reminds us that truth must govern our priorities. A genuine liberal education is not liberalism as ideology. It is an education ordered to the good and formed by Catholic tradition. Renewal begins when the university teaches that truth clearly, and without apology.
Today I delivered my final public speech after decades of coaching and speaking.
I’ve always believed I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth simply because I was born in this great country.
That’s why my commitment to the American Dream has never wavered and never will.
We must protect what makes America exceptional.
We cannot let God down; we must always do what’s right.
And I know @A1Policy will carry that fight forward with the strength and purpose our nation needs.
