We repair and recondition vintage electronics, computing and text processing technology. We also manufacture cables for vintage technology applications.
Don't think we'll need the digital multimeter this afternoon. We're going to work on this very nice old Imperial manual typewriter, made in Leicester England.

Lunchtime, going to start a new vintage (circa 1987) Civil War simulation, it's another classic from SSI, this time Shiloh: Grant's Trial In The West (Atari 8-bit version). #vintagegaming
Head over to Hoopla on this International Cat Day to listen to an album by The Cats, a groovy 60s rock band. Don't miss their big hit "Sure He's a Cat"! Explore @hooplaDigital: https://t.co/g5y7SEZ5dE
Nice little calculator from the late 70's. It uses a VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) similar in operation to a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) but at much lower voltages. #niagaratypewriters
The classic Frogger from Parker Brothers. One of the many clones floating around. It originated in Japan in 1981 by Konami, and in the US via Sega.

Need our isolation transformer this afternoon, going to start work after lunch on an old CRT monitor. This is used for safety to isolate us and our test equipment.
Interesting jpeg of a switch on a keypad we're working on. I haven't seen many of these but I'd describe it as a tactile switch because it provides feedback to the user with resistance to depressing the actuator (and gives a nice click sound).
Uploaded to Atari 400/800 download section on our BBS, Battle of Antietam game program, user guide and nice jpeg map. For anyone who wants to fire up their BBS terminal client and download the cool way using the Z-MODEM protocol, telnet to: https://t.co/6ugAlwpCd2
@Artaggg@devclass very interesting, thanks. I can remember starting with C back in the 80's and what an evolution it was for me from Assembler on the IBM PC.
The Commodore version of our popular Atari S-Video cable, Double shielded with 3.5mm phono audio jack, comes with free 3.5mm audio patch cable. For C64 and C128 computers. https://t.co/PTWcqdyVPX
Going to try replacing the 3.5" floppy drive on this nice old Panasonic KX-WL50 word processor with a drive we cannibalized from an Atari ST home computer. #niagaratypewriters
A tale of two Brothers, both typewriters, both portable but one is a manual typewriter from the 1960's and the other an electronic typewriter from the following century. #niagaratypewriters#typewriters
Another Brother typewriter on the bench, this GX-6750 will have to wait till Monday. Working a half day today, heading out to the first BBQ of the summer. #niagaratypewriters
