Thanks to Denmark, Greenland already enjoys free healthcare and free education from primary school to master’s level (and even higher education). Denmark guarantees a minimum wage of around $20 per hour, five weeks of paid vacation, and up to 52 weeks of paid parental leave. Greenlandic citizens also have access to comprehensive social security, including unemployment benefits, pensions, sick leave, and maternity leave.
In contrast, the U.S. offers no universal healthcare, no free higher education, no guaranteed paid vacation, and no paid parental leave. The minimum wage in the U.S. is significantly lower, and Americans face greater economic inequality, higher poverty rates, and weaker social protections. Denmark, meanwhile, ranks among the least corrupt countries in the world, ensuring strong democratic rights and a high standard of living.
Why would Greenlanders give up these extensive benefits for a country that doesn’t guarantee even the basics of social welfare?

I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination.

Ja. Skandal!!
