Usually, I try and maintain some sense of respect for the office of the Prime Minister, but it’s just impossible when the man doing the job is willing to demean it like this. What a desperate attempt to deflect from his own dismal failures. Utterly pathetic.
Being a leftist sucks btw, we are right about terrible stuff then get to see it slowly happening. I've been talking about climate refugees and the fear mongering around them causing a massive rise in fascism for years and it's just like 'cool guess I was right - this sucks'
@RishiSunak So the current Prime Minister is quoting the Daily Mail? Ah, right....🙄
Concentrate on the UK having the highest debt ratio payments in the world, highest tax rates for 70 years (apart from for you and your mates obviously), stop being corrupt.
Happy to pop round with a list 😡
Gosh, who would have thought a mammalian excretion designed to aid the rapid growth of a species of ruminant herbivore would be nutritionally different to alternatives made from plants, specifically for human beings. I am SHOOK.
Obviously; milk is result of millions of years of nutritional evolution while plant-based waters exist solely to push an almost entirely misleading environmental narrative (and £).
Not so much comparing apples with oranges as apples with tennis balls.

“As we keep burning fossil fuels, we fuel ever worse climate impacts. It won’t stop until we cut emissions to net zero. Politicians who attempt to delay [#climate] measures are locking in more of these extremes.”
We're looking at you, @RishiSunak...

@AllisonPearson I sincerely hope that at some point in the near future, climate change skeptics and denialists such as your good self will be held to account for the spreading of misinformation and confusion on social media. We don't have the time for this obfuscation and stupidity.
@sab0tage@DrProudman Right?! They did such a good job not giving the main plot away. It wasn't the film I thought I was going to see and it was all the better for it.
@willounet Hmm, not sure I'd agree with that. Ken's screen time is central to the storyline and provides context as to his actions later in the film. I didn't think he got too much - but that's just me! I'd be interested to hear what you think if you see it!
OK, so - I've seen the Barbie movie (I'm in the media, I got a preview). Whatever you think it is, I assure you, it isn't. The representation in the movie is top-notch. There are numerous jabs at Robbie's Barbie (called Stereotypical Barbie). People need to watch it first.
@MattAnderson71 @JustStop_Oil Ah yes, the most effective forms of protest, historically, have been the ones abandoned because the powers that be didn't take notice at first 😇
@SloaneFragment @DrProudman It's a fantastic movie with some very relevant, very hard-hitting themes regarding equality, the patriarchy, beauty standards etc etc. Yes, it's very funny, but it's not a kids' movie and I think it'll surprise a lot of viewers. I can't wait to see it again, personally.
@chrisdgreen52 If it's your hedge, can you sink concrete/metal posts or similar into it (as non-invasively as possible, of course)? Would be *such* a shame if they damaged his flailing equipment in future years though...
