The Grounds is exactly what Clubs has been missing.
EA are finally giving Clubs its own world. A dedicated social hub where players can meet, hang out, jump into mini games, discover new teammates and create clubs all in one connected space.
It features the integration of real-world brands and stores, with products from companies like adidas available inside the virtual world. It reminds me a lot of PlayStation Home, where gaming and social interaction came together.
This feels like a huge step for the Clubs community. Clubs has always been about the friendships you build as much as the football you play. Giving players a place to socialise outside of matches only strengthens that.
If @EA continue to build on this idea, The Grounds could become the heart of the Clubs community. A place where new teams are formed, lifelong friends are made, and the journey begins before you even kick a ball.
This is a big win for Pro Clubs. Bring on FC27. 🔥
For years, the Clubs community has endured EA's lack of interest in the mode, but that has never stopped it from growing.
Organized leagues, daily tournaments, and live events driven by a passionate community continued to inspire players to keep grinding the mode day after day.
We have never asked for much from EA. We simply ask for a game that works.
For more than a month, friendlies in Europe have been affected by severe ping issues. When teams include players from different regions connected to different servers, everyone is forced onto 100ms latency, making matches virtually unplayable.
EA is aware of the issue. We have provided detailed reports multiple times, including Gaming IDs, player locations, match timestamps, and other relevant information. Yet, the problem remains unresolved.
Why can't EA bring FC Pro tools to Clubs, allowing team captains to choose the server from which invitations are sent? What is preventing that? It would make organizing competitive matches significantly easier and fix the problem.
On top of that, Clubs would benefit from additional match settings, such as:
- Choosing the minute from which a match starts
- Enabling or disabling extra time and penalties
- Selecting one-leg or two-leg formats
- Other tournament-friendly customization options
It's time, @EASFCDirect , to listen to one of your most loyal communities.
